Welcome to our new:
Czech verb conjugator!
Because of the great importance of verbs in Czech (as in languages with complex conjugation systems) and their strict evaluation in the official Czech exams (already from the first levels, such as A2, which is required to obtain permanent residence in the Czech Republic — making a mistake in a verb form is considered a critical error that scores zero), we have developed, together with our collaborators, an online verb conjugator that until now did not exist on the internet in this form — free, reviewed, and with appropriate verbs. At this moment you can practise the present, past, and future tenses. For the present tense we use basic A1‑level verbs, only imperfective (we will add more soon). For the past and future tenses we use around 150 of the most frequent verbs according to the Dictionary of Frequent Czech Verbs (mixed level).
The Czech Verb Conjugator generates a random verb from our verb database and randomly selects a person. After you type the form, it automatically counts your correct and incorrect answers, and the correct form is displayed below.
Note: We are still running in a testing mode. Let me know if you find any mistakes! Write with correct Czech diacritics!
